The University of Texas at Brownsville/Texas Southmost College (UTB/TSC) Rio Grande TWO STEP Project, funded by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, facilitates the seamless transition of students from Technology and Tech-Prep (AAS) programs of Texan Colleges by implementing articulation agreements between UTB/TSC and colleges, as well as public schools throughout Texas. Articulation Agreements guarantee seamless transfer of certain AAS programs and equivalents into different tracks of Applied Bachelor degrees at UTB/TSC.

The UTB/TSC Bachelor of Applied Technology (BAT) has three tracks fully on-line, one track offered on-campus. The  Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) has two tracks online (one track has seventeen subject area combinations offered online and on-campus. Articulation agreements also guarantee acceptance of high school courses into different AAS degrees by colleges throughout Texas. These opportunities for a seamless transition constitutes substantial time and dollar savings to students and to the State of Texas.
